WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Make key contributions to mission-critical Trading Compliance system modernization effort from on-prem to high-performance cloud-based streaming service architecture
• Design, implement, test, and support cloud-native, hybrid, and on-prem systems
• Collaborate with development team to deliver high-quality solutions to business users
• Understand and critically analyze business functional, and technical requirements
• Adopt and implement best practices, and champion an engineering culture emphasizing efficiency, qualify, and automation
• On-call rotation to support production systems for our business users

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• 7+ years solid experience in Core Java, Spring/Spring Boot
• 7+ years software development experience
• Solid experience with service-oriented architecture or micro services
• Ability to develop efficient SQL queries (e.g. Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server)
• B.S. in computer science or equivalent education required
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Experience with Scrum/Agile development practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Engineering experience in AWS, Streaming, Kafka, Flink a plus
• Experience with modern configuration management and build tools (GitHub, Jenkins, CI/CD)
• Financial services or Fixed Income industry experience a plus
