Sr. Director of Sales – Away From Home / Foodservice

Our client, a global leader in the consumer packaged goods industry, is seeking a strong Sales leader to manage a team that will develop markets and customer relationships to impact sales. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing company with a great brand and the resources to support expanding sales!

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage team of account managers to achieve customer dollar volume, profitability, and related financial performance objectives.
  • Develop strong cross-functional relationships to identify new business opportunities, establish new customer relationships and deepen existing customer relationships.
  • Develop annual sales plans for the account base; support corporate planning and budgeting process; conduct planning, analysis, and modification of plans necessary to achieve growth expectations.
  • Provide strategic insight to the development of strategic plans and activities to support achievement of annual objectives.
  • Improve customer profitability through analysis, tracking, reporting and making recommendations.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 7-10 years’ progressive sales experience in the Away from Home / Food Service sector
  • Leadership experience managing a sizeable team
  • Strong analytical skills including syndicated data analysis
  • Comfort with executive level communication and presentations
  • Internal cross-functional collaboration expertise
  • Ability to travel up to 50%

Position is located on site in the Indianapolis area. Relocation assistance is provided.
