BrainWorks HR Search is partnered with a manufacturing company for their Sr. Enviroment & Safety Specialist role in STEVENS POINT WI.Reporting to the EHS Manager , you would support safety functions for a 400+ employee plant.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
As the Sr. Environment and Safety Specialist, you will support the Manager in developing, implementing, and managing policies and procedures that ensure compliance with environmental regulations, as well as safeguarding the health and safety of our employees. This role involves leading risk assessments, safety training, environmental audits, and ensuring the company meets all legal requirements related to environmental and safety standards.
PRIORITIES:
- Prepare and conduct HSE meetings & trainings
- Safety Audits and facility inspections
- Maintain Plant Environment Programs
- Ensure OSHA/State Safety Regulations
- Conduct incident review and actions
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of experience in environmental management, safety management, or a related field in MANUFACTURING.
- Proven experience in managing EHS programs, conducting audits, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Ability to develop and deliver effective safety training programs
COMPENSATION:
Up to $110k base + bonus
