WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We’re looking for an energetic Supply Planning Analyst for a dynamic, short-term engagement. In this role, you will join forces with our Supply Planning team and collaborate extensively across Simply Good’s Sales, Logistics, Co-Man, and Procurement teams. WHAT YOU WILL DO:
You’ll team closely with planners, analysts, and buyers, connecting your sharp, data analysis skills and keen business insights to drive strategic, data-informed decisions. Your efforts will be crucial in ensuring precise and consistent inventory management and supply continuity at Simply Good, directly shaping our strategies for managing finished goods inventory
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Track inbound POs from the Co-Man network; Reconcile any invoice discrepancies
- Maintain weekly S&OE decks, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and clear reporting
- Track new item setups, and data flow verification
- Manage demand forecast uploads and confirm accuracy by cross-referencing Anaplan data
- Support long-term Co-Man forecasting by pulling total demand forecasts and formatting them for easy readability
- Generate weekly inventory updates and distribute findings across teams
- Run various reports, verifying data accuracy and sharing insights with key stakeholders
- Assist with Co-Man return plan uploads, adjusting formats to align with CSV files and confirming successful system integration
- Support the Logistics team with DC manufactured inventory needs and planning
- Participate in all other miscellaneous SMPL and departmental tasks, as required
- Attend departmental/cross-functional meetings
KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:
- Strong knowledge in Microsoft Windows; Advanced knowledge in Excel, Access, and PowerBI (planning program)
- Ability to spot and identifying SKU level challenges, determine root causes and offer solutions
- Working knowledge of Inventory Management and Planning/Forecasting
- Strong people skills to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders across multiple levels and external partners
- Exceptional time management skills and ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a Technical Field, preferred
- 4-6 years working in finished goods planning
- Experience using forecasting tools (i.e., Microsoft D365, Oracle, JDA, or Anaplan)
- Relevant experience in Food Planning, S&OP Processes, Process Implementations, etc.
PROJECT SCHEDULE, LOCATION AND COMPENSATION:
Start Date: May 1, 2025
- Project Duration: ~ 5 months
- Location: Denver Office
- Schedule: Hybrid Schedule: 40 hours/week (Mondays and Fridays are remote workdays, while Tuesdays through Thursdays are in-office)
- Hourly Rate: $35- $40/hr
- Paid parking included
** Work is performed in a fast-paced office environment and may be stressful at times. Work may require sitting for long periods of time; it requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, calculator, telephone, copier and fax machine and scanner.
