Dave Cotter joins BrainWorks as the Senior Practice Leader – Life Science Search with over twelve years of Life Science recruiting experience. Dave began his recruiting career at Lab Support/On Assignment where he built a reputation for identifying and connecting with top candidates. He then moved on to Apex International and most recently to Korn Ferry where his focus centered on becoming a leader in the Life Science search space. While at both Apex and Korn Ferry, he achieved multiple promotions for his ability to partner deeply with clients and deliver exceptional talent. His clients include development stage private equity backed, mid-cap, and publicly traded blue-chip companies. Over his career he has successfully completed over 500 engagements for a wide range of companies at various stages, across many different functions including President/General Manager, Sales Transformations and Leadership, Marketing Leadership, R&D, Supply Chain, HR, FP&A, QA/RA, along with others.
Dave resides just outside of Minneapolis, MN and has his Bachelor of Science in Aquatic Biology from Bemidji State University. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, hunting, hiking, and spending time with family and friends in the great outdoors.
