Denis Goncharov-Carey

Denis specializes in Quantitative Finance & Technology assignments with Investment Banks, Hedge Funds, Asset Managers, FinTechs and Startups across a range of industry sectors primarily across the US and Europe. He offers 15 years of industry experience, having sourced and recruited across a variety of industries, disciplines, and mid-senior levels in London and New York. Denis is highly client-focused, consultative, and passionate about building long-term relationships with clients and candidates. His expertise and versatility spans across software engineering, data engineering, data science, and quantitative analytics. He holds a Bachelor of Arts joint degree in Contemporary History and Journalism from Queen Mary University of London and City University.

Denis is a former semi-professional soccer player, trained actor, and investigative journalist. In his spare time, Denis enjoys watching soccer, basketball, and follows an intensive fitness program while actively learning several forms of martial arts. He is fond of learning new languages, traveling and exploring new cultures – having visited over 50 countries and lived in Moscow, London, Paris, Berlin, Alicante, San Francisco and New York.

He is an avid reader with a penchant for Russian literature and enjoys foreign cinema and a variety of theatre productions both on and off-Broadway. Denis is also passionate about volunteering and fundraising for various charities and causes; the most recent of which was an initiative to organize and coordinate the early-stage humanitarian aid and relief efforts for the 7 million refugees displaced in the Russian and Ukrainian conflict.

Denis resides in Westchester, NY and enjoys spending quality time with his two daughters.
