Mary Welsh

Mary Welsh is Senior Legal Director for BrainWorks’ Legal Division.  Mary brings 25+ years of legal experience and expertise helping law firms and in-house clients.  Mary focuses on the specific skills needed for each position and is thoughtful of each client’s unique culture.  Mary has helped many clients with direct hire and temporary attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, HR, legal administrators, law clerks, accounting, and IT professionals.  Mary is also well versed in eDiscovery and has helped many clients with their e-discovery needs to be efficient and cost effective while never missing a deadline.

Mary has served as a VP, Senior Client Advisor and Recruiter for Special Counsel and LHH Recruitment Solutions where she was a top performer and All-Star year after year.  Her prior law firm experience helps her understand the unique needs of each practice area.  Mary has placed many in-house professionals.  She has assisted companies in finding the right general counsels, attorneys, paralegals, controllers, CFOs, and executive assistants.  Mary attended Robert Morris University where she received a bachelor’s degree in business/economics.

Mary resides in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania with her husband, two daughters and 4 grandchildren.  Family is very important to Mary.  She loves watching her grandchildren’s sporting events, helping at church, and giving back in the local community.  She is honored to be a part of the BrainWorks family where experience is valued and celebrated, and she can do the job she truly loves — making a difference for her clients and candidates every day!
