Steve Levitt

Steve is excited to join BrainWorks as its Chief Information Officer in 2020. After receiving his Masters in Mathematics from the University of Maryland, Steve joined a multinational pharmaceutical company where he rose to Vice President IT and was relied upon to form cross-functional teams and implement critical systems throughout the organization including Sales, Finance, Forecasting, Plant Operations, Logistics, Research & Development, Document Management and Compliance. As a consultant, Steve leveraged his experience to implement systems across industries including manufacturing, healthcare, and finance.  Among his accomplishments was to resuscitate a twice-failed implementation of the financial infrastructure for a global e-commerce platform, ultimately passing PWC audit and critically enabling the company to achieve its desired outcomes. Having seen hundreds of systems successfully and unsuccessfully implemented at companies of all sizes, he brings patience and a practical approach, able to collaborate with internal and external partners to produce the best possible outcomes.  He is a proud husband and father of three and can be occasionally spotted running and enthusiastically playing volleyball.
