Location: On-site in Lititz, PA for 6 months of hands-on training, then transition to a semi-hybrid work schedule.

The Opportunity
This Accounting Manager position is a great step-up for someone with leadership potential, such as a Senior Accountant, Team Lead, or experienced financial professional who has mentored or trained staff but hasn’t officially held a management title. You’ll oversee a small accounting team, guide financial processes, and work closely with brokers and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Oversee a small accounting team, supporting their workflows and growth.
- Foster a team-oriented culture and assist in process improvements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for broker partners, answering financial inquiries.
Financial Oversight & Reporting
- Manage monthly financial reports, ensuring accuracy in financial statements.
- Monitor stop-loss claims, cash inflows/outflows, and aggregate reports.
- Prepare financial statements
Operational & System Management
- Work with NetSuite for financial tracking and reporting.
- Utilize Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, advanced formulas) for financial analysis.
- Collaborate with the Director of Private & Public Sector Accounting and external auditors for compliance and audits.

- Team-oriented, proactive, and able to lead by example.
- Experience with NetSuite or other accounting software preferred.
