INTRODUCTION:

We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join our client’s finance team. This role is pivotal in driving financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior leadership to provide financial insights, scenario analysis, and actionable recommendations that optimize costs, enhance revenue, and support business objectives. Onestream experience is a must.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Financial Modeling: Build and maintain dynamic forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis models.
  • Data Analysis: Turn large data sets into clear insights and recommendations for leadership.
  • Forecasting & Budgeting: Lead annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial planning.
  • Variance Analysis: Identify deviations from financial plans and propose corrective actions.
  • Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and financial statements.
  • Decision Support: Provide strategic guidance on pricing, investments, cost-saving initiatives, and growth strategies.
  • Scenario Planning: Assess risks and opportunities through “what if” modeling.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify financial challenges and offer strategic, data-driven solutions

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 6+ years in FP&A, ideally in construction.
  • Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, pivot tables, complex formulas, VBA a plus).
  • Experience with ERP & BI tools like SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, Power BI, Tableau.
  • Strong communication skills to explain complex financials in simple, actionable terms.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and drive strategic decision-making without direct authority.
  • U.S. work authorization required.
