About the Role:

We are seeking a Director of Accounting Systems & Processes based in Northern Atlanta, reporting to the VP of Finance. This role will oversee the accounting department’s systems and processes, support, and train accounting teams, and collaborate with Finance & Accounting, Corporate IT, and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the Accounting Processes & Systems team, providing strategic direction
• Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals and analysts
• Maintain expertise in SAP S4Hana Finance, BlackLine, SmartClose, CoStar, and reporting tools like Excel and Power BI
• Train and support accounting teams on systems and reporting tools
• Coordinate with various teams to ensure seamless collaboration across departments
• Identify and implement process improvements, focusing on automation
• Set financial goals and objectives
• Work with senior management on financial planning
• Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and documentation

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of job-related experience
• 5+ years management experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• MBA and/or CPA preferred
