Brainworks is partnered with a bank in Daphne, AL for their Executive Vice President of Human Resources Vacancy.
This is a newly created role of VP of HR role, you will lead the HR function, reporting directly to the CEO. Your role will be crucial in establishing HR strategies that support our business objectives, foster a positive culture, and drive growth. You will oversee HR initiatives to support our 250 employees across 22 locations, lead mergers and acquisitions, facilitate growth strategies, implement incentive plans, and contribute to strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute HR strategies that align with business objectives and support our high-growth trajectory
- Lead workforce development programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities
- Manage HR integrations during mergers and acquisitions, ensuring seamless transitions and cultural alignment
- Design and implement compensation and incentive plans to drive performance and employee engagement
- Establish job leveling and grading frameworks to support career development and internal mobility
- Participate in strategic discussions and decision-making processes as a key member of the leadership team
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability within the HR function
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required, Master’s Degree preferred, PHR or SPHR strongly preferred
- Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, must have experience within banking or financial services
- Strong understanding of workforce development, integrations, and compensation strategies
- Experience managing HR functions during mergers and acquisitions is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing HR teams
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate HR initiatives into business outcomes
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Self-starter and highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
