WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

The Co-Man Manager is an integral member of the Operations team, reporting to the Sr. Director, Co-Man. This individual is responsible for providing project management expertise that will drive all aspects of the Innovation pipeline as it relates to
commercialization. This individual is responsible to ensure Innovation projects deliver expected value to the business on time, within budget, scope and top quality. This individual will partner closely with Supply Chain leadership to ensure planning, procurement, logistics, as well as R&D and Marketing are all aligned as new products move through conceptualization to commercialization. In addition, the Co-Man Manager should have a general management mindset and strong desire to go above and beyond to get the job done.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage price variances and forecast changes
  • Primary contact and relationship manager for supplier location(s)
  • Manage the relationship and daily operations at Co-Man sites, including:
    • Measuring and tracking KPIs
    • Regular performance reviews
    • Process improvements to ensure effective service, quality and cost
  • Oversee the scope, timeline, deliverables and goals for commercialization projects
  • Ensure sourcing options meet required timelines and stay within budget
  • Align external capabilities with projected requirements to support future capacity needs
  • Support innovation trials by tracking and communicating progress and proactively managing changes to scope
  • Analyze and direct feasibility, manufacturing, sourcing strategy, logistics, customer service implications, etc.
  • Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Assist in special reports, projects and assignments, as required
  • Participate in all other miscellaneous SMPL and departmental tasks, as required
  • Attend departmental/cross-functional meetings

KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of organizational work processes, required
  • Exceptional project management and project execution skills to meet aggressive timelines
  • Strong interpersonal skills to influence and achieve alignment across multiple stakeholders
  • Highly attentive to details; Ability to thrive in a dynamic, face-paced work environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Understanding of processing and packaging technology for food and/or beverage

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS/BA degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Logistics, Business or related field, highly preferred
  • Minimum 6 years experience in Manufacturing and/or Supply Chain
  • Minimum 4 years experience of Project Management and Leadership
  • CPG experience, required; Food and beverage, highly preferred

Work is performed in a fast-paced office environment and may be stressful at times. Work may require sitting for long periods of time; requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, calculator, telephone, copier and fax machine and scanner.

The base salary range is: $100,000-$125,000, exclusive of benefits or additional incentives (https://www.thesimplygoodfoodscompany.com/careers). Additionally, this position is eligible for a 15% annual short-term incentive. If you are hired at Simply Goods Foods, your final base salary compensation will be determined based upon such factors as: geographic locations, skills, training, education and/or experience. Please keep in mind that hiring at the compensation range maximum would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
