Our client, a renowned high-end luxury jewelry retailer celebrated for its unparalleled craftsmanship, timeless elegance, and commitment to client excellence, has retained us to identify a visionary General Manager. This critical leadership role blends operational expertise, strategic vision, and a deep commitment to brand values to ensure the continued success of their flagship store. The GM will drive operational excellence, lead community engagement efforts, and act as a steward of the brand’s prestige and philanthropic mission.
This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic leader to oversee all aspects of boutique operations—excluding direct sales oversight—while partnering closely with the sales leadership team to deliver an extraordinary client experience.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee aspects of daily store operations to ensure an exceptional luxury environment and client experience.
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Sales and the sales team to support client engagement initiatives and brand standards.
- Partner with executive leadership to align operational practices with the company’s strategic goals and brand vision.
- Ensure inventory is managed and presented to meet client expectations while maintaining exclusivity and quality standards.
- Ensure consistent, values-driven brand messaging across all platforms and customer interactions.
- Lead charitable giving initiatives, community engagement, and brand representation efforts.
- Collaborate on marketing campaigns, PR activities, and event planning to enhance brand presence and community ties.
- Lead, mentor, and develop store operations teams, ensuring excellence in service and performance.
- Set clear performance expectations for operational roles, provide coaching, and drive accountability.
- Serve as an ambassador of the brand within the community, building strategic partnerships and elevating brand recognition.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Luxury Retail Management, or a related field.
- 7+ years of leadership experience in luxury retail, with a strong background in store operations, brand management, and team leadership.
- Proven expertise in community engagement, charitable initiatives, and luxury brand representation.
- Strong understanding of the luxury client experience and operational excellence standards.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a collaborative environment.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and luxury retail inventory management platforms is preferred.
