BrainWorks has partnered with a highly respected leader in the financial services technology space, to place a talented Global Procurement Category Leader with a focus on IT software. This position will be located at their CT (hybrid) office with partial relocation assistance available. This person will be a trusted advisor to a Global team and facilitate complex, strategic sourcing initiatives and contract negotiations for the procurement of Software, SaaS, CSP and IT services. This individual will lead teams of key cross-functional stakeholders through the strategic sourcing process and leverage purchasing power to drive measurable commercial improvements. Qualifications:

• Experience leading complex, enterprise-wide sourcing initiatives, contract negotiations and supplier management activities for companies such as, but not limited to AWS, GCP, Microsoft/Azure
• 6+ years of professional experience in Software sourcing & negotiations
• Strong preference for financial services or technology industry experience
• Proven experience influencing stakeholders in a global environment
• Experience leading direct reports is highly valued but not required
• 4-year degree
