Managing Director of Injection Molding site in Utah

A North American contract manufacturing company is seeking a Managing Director for one of its key locations. This role is ideal for a leader with strong operational expertise, a commitment to continuous improvement, and an entrepreneurial mindset. The site is poised for significant growth, offering an opportunity to shape its future trajectory and drive revenue expansion over the next five years.
Location: U.S.-based manufacturing site (On-site daily presence required)
Reports to: Vice President of North America
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Development: Oversee a team of 60 employees, including managers, shift supervisors, and engineers. Build a high-performance team through mentorship, accountability, and empowerment.
- Operational Excellence: Champion Lean principles and drive continuous improvement to optimize efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- ISO Certification: Lead the site through ISO 13485 certification by the end of 2025, ensuring compliance with medical device manufacturing standards.
- Strategic Growth: Execute a growth plan focused on automation, cross-selling opportunities, and securing new margin customers to achieve long-term revenue goals.
- Customer Focus: Collaborate with Business Development to expand market share in medical devices, automotive, and sporting goods.
- Financial Management: Own the P&L, drive EBITDA growth, and make data-driven decisions to ensure financial success.
- Culture & Values: Foster a collaborative, high-integrity environment aligned with the company’s core values of passion, integrity, partnership, and excellence.
Who You Are
- A proven leader with 15+ years of experience in operations in injection molding or contract manufacturing
- Experienced in Lean manufacturing and operational excellence.
- Skilled in driving growth and building high-performing teams.
- Entrepreneurial, adaptable, and visionary, with a focus on delivering measurable results.
