Our client, a consumer durables company, is seeking a National Account Manager to support its Walmart and Sam’s Club business. In this role you will report to the Director of Sales and be responsible for maintaining, managing, and growing the categories while working directly with the Walmart and Sam’s Club Merchandising Team. This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated, energetic, action-oriented leader with solid analytical skills!

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Spearhead sales strategies and furnish comprehensive business updates encompassing analysis, insights, promotional endeavors, and competitive intelligence.
  • Develop tailored sales programs and presentations catered to the specific needs of listed accounts.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of sales forecasts, budgets, pricing structures, and other pertinent aspects.
  • Monitor and advocate for product mix adjustments, supported by thorough documentation and rationale, to enhance company margins.
  • Serve as the primary steward of assigned business segments, demonstrating a proactive growth-oriented mindset.
  • Exhibit strong account management skills with strong analytical background making data driven decisions with attention to detail.
  • Design and articulate sales and marketing initiatives geared towards fostering profitable sales expansion.
  • Set short- and long-term sales strategies for key National Accounts served.
  • Ideal Candidate:
  • Bachelor’s degree along with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in sales with prior Walmart and Sam’s Club account management experience
  • Must have strong analytical abilities, leveraging tools such as Retail Link, Luminate, and Madrid to derive actionable business insights.
  • Display excellent project management capabilities, adept at juggling multiple initiatives simultaneously.
