BrainWorks HR Search is partnered with a distribution company for their Plant Human Resources Manager vacancy near DANSVILLE, PA.
Position Overview:
As a Plant HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving people strategy, fostering a positive and productive workplace, and ensuring employees are equipped to perform at their best. You will be a trusted advisor to both management and employees, offering strategic guidance and HR expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic partner to business leaders, providing HR guidance and support.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand their staffing needs and develop effective HR strategies.
- Manage the full employee life cycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
- Resolve employee relations issues and conduct investigations as necessary.
- Implement and manage HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and recommend solutions for continuous improvement.
- Facilitate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and performance
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 6+ years of experience in an HR role
- MUST HAVE experience within manufacturing
- Union experience is highly preferred
- Proven experience in successfully partnering with senior leadership on HR strategy.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
Compensation:
- Up to $125k base + bonus
