Our client, a trailblazer with a 150 year history is hiring for a VP of E-Commerce! They are a company poised for exponential growth in the e-commerce space and are strategically expanding. With a robust infrastructure ready to support accelerated growth, we are seeking a visionary leader to drive our e-commerce strategy forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to drive sales growth and market share expansion.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key online retailers, particularly Amazon, while exploring opportunities for growth with other major platforms.
  • Lead a team of account managers, fostering a culture of accountability, action, and high performance.
  • Implement best practices in e-commerce operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and customer service.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging data analytics and market insights to optimize pricing, product assortment, and channel performance.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, providing regular updates on e-commerce performance and market trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a reputable institution; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in e-commerce, preferably within the home decor or CPG industry.
  • Deep understanding of online retail platforms, particularly Amazon, Wayfair, Home Depot, and Lowe’s.
  • Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a bias towards action and results.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a focus on accountability and performance.
  • Willingness to travel, with the flexibility to spend significant time in Wisconsin if not already based there.
